IMMA Profile Indian Mine Managers ' Association ( IMMA ) is professional body functioning at National level in India . IMMA was created with active support of stalwarts of mining industry in 1923 to safeguard the interests of Mine Managers . Over the years , it has contributed immensely for the cause of Mining Engineers in general and Mine Managers in particular . With its national Headquarters at Dhanbad , IMMA has a broad base of nine branches spread over the country . IMMA is working closely with mining industry , Government , DGMS , CIMFR , Academia and students to further the cause of professional Managers engaged in mines .
